EBSCO Mobile App: Creating a Personal Account

To create a personal account from the EBSCO Mobile App:

If you are signed in to the EBSCO Mobile App with login credentials from your library or institution, you have the option to create a personal account from within the app. When signed in to the app with a personal account, articles that are saved in the app are also available to you in the My EBSCOhost folder when you sign in to EBSCOhost with your personal account credentials.

Note: If you already have a personal account to access EBSCOhost on your desktop computer, you can use this account to sign in to the app. When you sign in with an existing account, items stored in your My EBSCOhost folder are available from the Saved items in the app. However, items stored in Custom Folders you have created are not available in the EBSCO Mobile App at this time.

To create a personal account from the EBSCO Mobile App:

  1. Launch the Mobile App and tap Find My Library.

  2. Tap your library name in the displayed list and enter your institution's credentials to sign in to the app.

  3. Tap the Profile icon in the menu at the bottom of the screen to access the Profile screen.

  4. Tap the Create Account button to access the Create Account screen.

  5. Fill in your information and click the Create Account button.

    You receive a confirmation that your account has been created and are prompted to tap Log In to sign in with your new personal account credentials.
