Access the Library Catalogue
Use the Search Bar
- In the Primo search bar, type relevant keywords such as "Communication," "Media Studies," or specific topics like "Interpersonal Communication," "Mass Communication," etc.
- You can also enter the exact title of the book, author's name, or ISBN if you have those details.
- Filter Your Search:
- Once the search results appear, use the filters on the left-hand side of the page to refine your search.
- Availability: Filter by "Available online" for eBooks or "Available in the library" for print books.
- Resource Type: Choose "Books" to narrow down the results
- Subject: Filter by "Communication" or related subjects to get specific results.
- Date: You can also filter by the publication year if you're looking for recent materials.
Browse the Results:
Scroll through the results to find books relevant to your communication topic. Each item will display its availability status (e.g., if it's an eBook or available for loan).
- Click on the title to view more details like the abstract, table of contents, and location for physical books.
Access the Book:
- For physical books, note the call number and location to find it in the library.
- For eBooks, click on the link provided to access the full text through the library's database.
Save or Export Results:
- You can save items to your Primo account, export citations, or email links to yourself for future reference.
