Scholarly Communication Guide: Open Educational Resources

This guide provides information on the support services available at the library to help with all stages of your research, from planning your research, to measuring the impact of your research.

Open Educational Resources

Open Educational Resources (OER) are teaching, learning, and research resources that reside in the public domain or are released under a [Creative Commons] license that permits free use and re-purposing by others. Recently, interest in OER has grown tremendously due to rising textbook costs and institutional missions to save students money, as well as a greater desire to share educational resources widely.
