Open access refers to the practice of making peer-reviewed scholarly research and literature freely available online to anyone interested in reading it. It is simply making research available for others to read without having to pay for it.

How to find books on UNIZULU Ecatalogue

 

  1. Enter the address: http://library.unizulu.ac.za
  2. Type a search term or phrase in the “Quick Search” box
  3. Select one of the options to narrow your search from the drop down box by clicking on the:
  4. Word or phrase
  5. Author
  6. Title
  7. Subject
  8. Series
  9. Periodical title
  10. ISB/ISSN
  11. Click search
  12. Click on the Title to view more information about the item.

Inside the library the E-catalog is always displayed on the dedicated catalog terminals. From out side the campus users will need to connect to the internet and follow the steps below:

Log on to the UniZulu library website and Click 

Follow the quick Link to the library catalogue : http://esal.unizulu.ac.za

 

 

  1. Locate the call number at the bottom of the newly opened window (e.g. 307.72 DEW) It shows where the item can be found on the shelf
