What is Originality or (Similarity) Report?

The Originality Report indicates the amount of matched text (e.g. phrases or sentences) that Turnitin has found in student’s assignment. It also indicates the sources of any matched text found. The Originality Report is a useful tool to check that students cited their sources in the assignment and have not copied text without proper referencing.
